Position: Staff Accountant

• We are looking for a full-time Staff Accountant to join our team. This role is critical to managing our day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring financial accuracy across all areas of the business. This is a hybrid position with a minimum of 2 days in the office weekly.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable , including invoice processing, payment issuance, and vendor reconciliation.
• Oversee company credit card expenditures: match receipts, code expenses, and record them in QuickBooks Online.
• Reconcile employee expense reports and act as the point of contact for related questions or concerns.
• Prepare and issue accounts receivable invoices ; track and report project profitability.
• Handle vendor management and conduct year-end 1099 review, processing, and filing.
• Assist with multi-state sales tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Maintain and manage fixed assets , including depreciation and amortization schedules.
• Support month-end and year-end closing , including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
• Assist with financial audits and support ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field (required)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail
