Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering the finest quality dishes and an unforgettable dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of culinary trends, and a commitment to upholding our standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Create and design menus that reflect the restaurant's vision, incorporating the latest culinary trends and seasonal ingredients. - **Team Leadership:** Manage and inspire the kitchen team, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance skills and maintain high morale. - **Quality Control:** Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency, quality, and excellence in every dish served. - **Budget Management:** Develop and manage the kitchen budget, including inventory, cost control, and waste reduction. - **Supplier Relations:** Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the procurement of high-quality ingredients. - **Health & Safety Compliance:** Ensure the kitchen operates in compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. - **Collaboration:** Work closely with restaurant management and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and cooperation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen. - Exceptional culinary skills with a flair for creativity and innovation. - Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. - Ability to work well under pressure and manage a dynamic team. - Thorough knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality standards. - Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
