School Treasurer
The school treasurer will assist the school with all financial issues, including handling the school checking account, maintaining current all accounts receivables and accounts payables, and providing the financial reports required. The school treasurer needs to be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist church and attend church on a regular basis.
Skills, Education, and Experience Required:
- Pay attention to detail and accurately maintain the school accounts.
- Knowledge of Quicken computerized accounting program.
- Education/Experience General accounting knowledge.
- Two or more years of experience in accounting preferred
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain record of all financial activities.
- Receive/record student tuition and prepare and record deposits.
- Review and pay all outstanding invoices.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for the school finance committee.
- Forward copies of the school Financial Report to the Office of Education each month.
- Participate in drafting the annual school budget.
- Attend all school finance committee and school board meetings.
