Job Purpose

The 340B Program Analyst is responsible for the daily support and analysis of 26Health’s 340B Program. This role ensures program integrity through data monitoring, compliance tracking, audit readiness, and process improvement. The Analyst works closely with pharmacy partners, billing teams, and compliance staff to ensure accurate utilization and adherence to 340B regulations. This position plays a key role in supporting access to affordable medications for underserved populations while safeguarding the program's financial and operational sustainability.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Monitor 340B program activity to ensure adherence to HRSA, OPA, and other federal/state regulatory guidelines.
  • Track and report on 340B utilization, identifying trends, variances, and compliance issues.
  • Reconcile dispensing records with contract pharmacy and third-party administrator (TPA) data for accuracy.
  • Assist in preparing for internal and external audits by maintaining proper documentation and supporting audit requests.
  • Coordinate routine self-audits and assist in developing action plans to address any discrepancies.
  • Support data integrity by validating eligibility of prescriptions, provider status, and location mapping.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for leadership on 340B savings, drug utilization, and compliance metrics.
  • Stay current with federal and state 340B program updates, communicating relevant changes to internal stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with finance and compliance departments to optimize program performance.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and participate in process improvement projects.
  • Assist in training applicable staff on 340B workflows and compliance expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with the 340B Drug Pricing Program in an analyst, coordinator, billing, or pharmacy operations role.
  • Familiarity with 340B software systems (e.g., Macro Helix, Verity, Sentry) and data reconciliation processes.
  • Strong understanding of 340B eligibility criteria, duplicate discount prevention, and audit documentation standards.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas) and other MS Office tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organizational compliance deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA and internal policies.

Preferred:

  • Apexus 340B ACE certification (or willingness to obtain within six (6) months).
  • Experience working in FQHC, Ryan White, or non-profit healthcare setting.
  • Experience with audit preparation, billing reconciliation, or contract pharmacy management.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid billing policies and covered entity eligibility requirements.

Working conditions

  • Prolonged periods standing, walking, and/or sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
  • Occasional travel to partner pharmacies or training sessions may be required.

  • May require the occasional ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
