Monitoring patients: Respiratory therapists monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatments, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Educating patients: Respiratory therapists educate patients and their families on how to manage their respiratory conditions and use equipment such as inhalers, nebulizers, and oxygen tanks.

Collaborating with healthcare professionals: Respiratory therapists work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.

Documenting patient care: Respiratory therapists are responsible for maintaining accurate and complete records of patient care, including assessments, treatments, and progress.
