**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
+ Monitor for unusual activity or potential security-related concerns throughout assigned areas.
+ Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site-specific requirements.
+ Communicate and collaborate with on-site personnel, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed.
+ Assist in controlling access to designated areas and help to deter unauthorized entry.
+ Support emergency preparedness and response initiatives by remaining familiar with site protocols and evacuation procedures.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
