Assistant Housekeeping Manager
We are currently seeking a new team member as Assistant Housekeeping Manager at Marriott Orlando Airport Lakeside.
Our property, located by one of the busiest airports in the country, offers 485 guest rooms, approximately 30,000 sq ft in meeting space along with resort-like amenities such as an indoor/outdoor pool, pool bar and several food & beverage outlets.General Duties:
- Provide assistance to the Executive Housekeeper in day to day operations.
- Monitor room attendants, laundry and houseman performance and provide guidance.
- Ensure all jobs are completed within the shift; make sure all sections are covered.
- Assist in conducting linen and guest amenity inventories monthly.
- Monitor and supervise room attendants.
- Coach, develop and manage the performance of the Housekeeping Leadership team.
- Plan, implement and track all deep cleaning and job cycle projects for guest rooms.
- Administer departmental payroll processes.
- Comply with all department policies, procedures and service standards.
- Follow and proactively promote all health and safety policies and initiatives.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Able to communicate accurately and effectively in verbal and written format with guests, employees and department.
- Excellent guest service skills required.
- Must posses leadership skills.
- Extensive knowledge of cleanliness operations.
- Mist be flexible enough to work any shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Experience:
