Position Overview

• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment

• Set up and sterilize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies

• Assist surgeons, registered nurses, and anesthesia staff during procedures

• Prepare patients for surgery, including positioning, draping, and site preparation

• Anticipate surgeon needs and maintain readiness throughout procedures

• Handle specimens for laboratory analysis

• Monitor patient safety and maintain attention to detail in high-stress environments

• Follow all infection control and safety protocols

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required

• BLS certification required

• Minimum 2 years of recent surgical technologist experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
