Development Operations Assistant

Prader-Willi Syndrome Association | USA
Brandon, FL
Description

Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a mission-driven development professional to make a meaningful impact by helping shape the next phase of PWSA | USA’s national fundraising growth. As the organization expands, you will play a key role in strengthening and scaling the systems that drive peer-to-peer fundraising and annual development efforts. Working closely with the Director of Development, you’ll help refine workflows, build tools and resources, elevate donor and fundraiser experiences, and apply data-driven insights to support long-term revenue growth. This role blends strategic operational work with meaningful community engagement—you’ll build campaigns and dashboards while also supporting families and volunteer fundraisers who care deeply about the mission. With opportunities to contribute new ideas, improve processes, and help propel emerging programs forward, this position is ideal for someone who enjoys building infrastructure, increasing efficiency, and enhancing supporter success. It’s a chance to step into a mid-level role where your contributions will directly strengthen a sustainable fundraising model and make a lasting difference for individuals with PWS and their families nationwide.

Position Overview

PWSA | USA seeks a mission-driven Mid-Level Development & Fundraising Manager to support and professionalize our expanding peer-to-peer fundraising programs and strengthen overall fundraising operations. This role is primarily a behind-the-scenes position, focused on building the internal systems, workflows, and infrastructure that power effective and scalable fundraising. While the work is operational and systems-oriented, the position also includes some direct fundraising coaching, execution of stewardship touches, and limited U.S. travel a few times per year to support events or organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate brings creativity, strong project management skills, and hands-on staff experience in nonprofit fundraising. They will help build scalable internal processes, expand fundraising capacity, enhance donor and fundraiser engagement, and contribute to the growth of sustainable revenue streams.

  • Expand and optimize P2P fundraising across in-person, hybrid, and fully virtual formats.

  • Need to develop responsibilities around creating stewardship workflow, action assignments and prompts for increased gifts, etc.

Development Operations & CRM Management
