Commercial Property Accountant

Randstad is proud to partner with a fully integrated real estate industry leader, to identify an analytical and detail-oriented Commercial/ Retail Property Accountant. Operating out of their Pompano Beach, FL location, this role is a phenomenal opportunity to manage full-cycle accounting for an assigned portfolio of commercial and mixed-use real estate assets.

This is a direct hire opportunity offering a base salary between $75k-$85k + full benefits package.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger & CAM Reconciliations: Maintain day-to-day general ledger activity, input journal entries, maintain fixed asset software (FAS) for depreciation, and execute annual Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliations according to lease terms.
• Financial Statements & Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, variance exception reports, and budget schedules to ensure head office transaction accuracy.
• Balance Sheet & Tenant Reconciliations: Perform monthly/quarterly compliance, vendor, and tenant account reconciliations, proactively untangling any account discrepancies.
• Budgeting & Audit Support: Partner with Property Managers during annual forecasting cycles and assemble supporting working papers for external quarterly and year-end audits.
