Job Description - Warehouse Worker

Overview:

A reliable and detail‑oriented Warehouse Worker is needed to support daily material handling, inventory control, and shipping/receiving operations. This role is essential to maintaining efficient production flow and ensuring that materials and finished goods are accurately stored, tracked, and delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Handling

• Receive, unload, and verify incoming materials and components.
• Accurately label, store, and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Pull and deliver materials to production areas according to work orders and schedules.

Inventory Management

• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Maintain accurate records in inventory management systems.
• Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials promptly.

Shipping & Receiving

• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers and ensure shipments meet required deadlines.
• Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.

General Warehouse Operations

• Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and ESD handling requirements when applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
• Basic computer skills for inventory entry and tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Range: $18–$21 per hour, based on experience.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM .

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palmetto, FL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
