Position Summary
The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations. This position offers great growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and review invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and balance sheet accounts.
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and vendor/customer inquiries.
- Prepare financial reports and account analyses as requested.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
- Assist with process improvements and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience.
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Pivot tables and vlookups preferred.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately at a high speed (10 key typing) while maintaining focus on precision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
