Senior Buyer (Hialeah)

Onsite, Hialeah, FL – Senior Buyer – $150,000 + Benefits

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to lead their procurement activities and drive value across their supply chain. You will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the business gets the best possible quality, cost, and delivery terms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement processes for assigned categories, from sourcing and tendering through to contract award and ongoing management
• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and service improvements
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, conducting regular performance reviews
• Identify and onboard new suppliers, carrying out due diligence and risk assessments
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, and logistics to understand requirements and align procurement activity
• Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and supply risks, taking proactive action where needed
• Support and mentor junior members of the procurement team
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant regulations
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years experience in a buying or procurement role
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills with a track record of delivering savings
• Experience managing supplier contracts and conducting performance reviews
• Ability to analyse spend data and market information to inform decisions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in procurement or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
