Property Manager
Our client is looking for a Property Manager. This position is onsite located in Pompano Beach, FL.
- Salary: $140,000 - $160,000
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of a portfolio of commercial properties (industrial, retail, and office), ensuring assets are well-maintained, efficient, and compliant with regulations
- Build strong tenant relationships, serve as the main point of contact, and ensure a high level of service and responsiveness
- Manage vendors and contractors, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to company standards
- Lead capital projects, renovations, and major repairs from planning through execution, tracking timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Implement preventative maintenance programs and oversee building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), including emergency repairs as needed
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while supporting risk management efforts
- Utilize property management systems to track operations, and provide reporting on property performance, maintenance, and projects
- At least 5 years of experience overseeing commercial properties (industrial, retail, or office) within property management or facilities environments
- Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance operations, and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-site portfolios and driving capital projects or major repairs through completion
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across tenants, vendors, and leadership
- Financial acumen including budgeting, expense management, and performance analysis
- Proficient in property management systems (Yardi, MRI, or similar) and Microsoft Office, with strong organizational skills
- Open to periodic travel and able to manage properties both on-site and remotely
