• Our health clinic does not bill insurance allowing for more time with patients!
• Compensation is well above national average.
• Physicians can focus on care for patients!

The highly qualified individual we seek will be responsible for providing primary care to eligible employees and their dependents. This individual will also serve as a collaborator for our Nurse Practitioners.

Overview of role:

• Comprehensive primary care services, including but not limited to:
• Key Care Management Services.
• Wellness/Prevention Services.
• Occupational & Worker’s Compensation Services.
• Risk Identification and Targeted Employee Outreach.
• Pediatric Services.
  • 2 Years & Older: Fever, Cough, Earache, Minor Illness.
  • 10 Years & Older: Routine Primary Care, School Physicals.

The physician may also have other clinical duties that advance WeCare tlc’s mission and contribute to our organizational development.

WeCare tlc will provide professional liability insurance.

Requirements:

Licenses/Certifications

• A valid medical state license in the state of practice
• Active DEA registration
• Active CPR/BLS certification
• Board certification as a family practice physician preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience in family practice, preventive, and/or occupational health
• Through understanding in the treatment of common chronic diseases
• Excellent clinical skills and abilities
• Superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to perform common in office procedures
• Knowledge of preventive care guidelines
• Understanding of best practices for CPT and ICD 10 coding
• High level of emotional intelligence
• Possesses strong interpersonal skills for positive and effective interaction with patients, visitors, and the health care team
• Must be able to see patients ages 2 and up.

Prior Experience and Education

• Must be a graduate from an accredited medical school.
• Have a state MD or DO license in good standing.
• Board certification as a Family Physician
• DOT Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire?
