Maintenance Support Worker - Parking and Transportation

Provides maintenance assistance to ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Performs preventative maintenance duties and minor repairs in parking garages and parking lots including pressure cleaning.
• Operates different types of cleaning equipment such as floor cleaning equipment and shampooing.
• Provides support during special events to ensure proper signage placement on campus such as barricades, VMS boards and light towers
• Assists with the upkeep and cleaning of department fleet
• Performs essential duties in any emergencies such as hurricanes, storms, and/or any other university emergency closing. The employee is expected to be available to report to work as needed during university emergency closing with appropriate notification of a department administrator.
• Performs other related duties as directed by administration. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the manager from assigning duties that re logically related to the position.
