Saar Management is a growing property management company committed to maintaining high-quality communities and providing exceptional service to our residents. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations for our Jacksonville-area properties.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading maintenance operations across assigned properties, ensuring all repairs, preventive maintenance, unit turns, and capital improvement projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner. This position supervises maintenance personnel, coordinates vendors, maintains compliance with company standards, and supports property managers in delivering excellent resident service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead maintenance technicians and maintenance support staff.

• Plan, assign, and monitor daily maintenance activities and work orders.

• Ensure timely completion of service requests and resident maintenance concerns.

• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and property inspections.

• Coordinate unit turns and make-ready schedules.

• Monitor inventory, supplies, and maintenance budgets.

• Obtain and coordinate vendor bids and services as needed.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, Fair Housing, and company safety requirements.

• Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general building maintenance issues.

• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to maintenance emergencies when necessary.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting.

• Work closely with Property Managers to identify and resolve property maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance supervisory experience in multifamily housing, property management, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance.

• Ability to lead, train, and motivate maintenance staff.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance duties as needed.

Preferred Certifications

• EPA Certification (Required)

• HVAC Certification (Preferred)

• CPO Certification (Preferred)

• CAMT Certification (Preferred)
