Service Technician, HVAC
Job Summary
Diagnosis, service, and repair HVAC equipment in residential and commercial establishments.
Pay : $50,000 - $100,000 annually
Allowance: Moving expense up to $2,500
Sign on bonus: $1,000 after 90 days

Job Duties
- Complete work orders for billing purposes.
- Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.
- Obtain and maintain required certifications.

- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
- Test electrical circuits and components for continuity, using electrical test equipment.
- Reassemble and test equipment following repairs.
- Inspect and test system to verify system compliance with plans and specifications and to detect and locate malfunctions.
- Discuss heating-cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems or to verify that malfunctions have been corrected.
- Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.
- Test pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution.
- Adjust system controls to setting recommended by the manufacturer to balance system, using hand tools.
- Working with dispatcher and office managers to ensure smooth operation.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Drug Testing & E-Verify
Ability to Perform Duties
- Work in all weather conditions
- Loud Environment, Long Days in Summer months, long periods of standing, using a phone to call customers and distributors, working with electrical connections, driving from service call to service call, ability to work with various HVAC-related tools, lifting heavy objects.
