Insurance Account Manager / Inside Sales Representative
We are looking for a motivated Insurance Account Manager / Inside Sales Representative to join our Naples, FL agency. This full-time, on-site role combines client relationship management with proactive inside sales, ensuring both exceptional service and business growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, enjoys solving client needs, and is driven to maximize retention and revenue opportunities.
In this position, you will act as the primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio of clients, balancing day-to-day account servicing with strategic sales initiatives. You will help clients optimize coverage, manage renewals, and identify opportunities for cross-selling or new business development—all while supporting the agency’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Maintain and service a dedicated book of personal and/or commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
- Inside Sales & Growth: Respond to inbound leads, perform outbound prospecting, and identify opportunities to expand coverage within existing accounts
- Policy Administration: Prepare accurate insurance quotes, process applications, handle endorsements, and manage all policy documentation
- Renewals & Retention: Lead renewal reviews and remarketing efforts to maintain high retention rates and competitive coverage placement
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, billing questions, coverage changes, and claims support
- Data Management: Keep detailed, up-to-date client records and follow-up logs within the Agency Management System (AMS) to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal team members to coordinate workflow, support sales initiatives, and improve operational efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in Insurance Account Management, Inside Sales, or a high-volume agency environment
- Active 2-20 or 4-40 Insurance License preferred, or willingness to obtain licensure
- Strong knowledge of personal and commercial insurance products, carriers, and underwriting guidelines
- Excellent relationship-building and client-facing communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up abilities
