Paralegal
Company Overview:
Our client is a boutique general practice law firm with 10+ years of experience. They specialize in a variety of areas of law, including business transactions, business litigation, contract law, real estate, estate planning, and more.
- As a Legal Assistant or Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our legal team and ensure the smooth operation of our legal processes.
- This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the legal field and a desire to contribute to the success of a fast-paced dynamic law firm.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting attorneys with document review and preparation
- Conducting legal research using various resources
- Managing, organizing and tracking files physically and digitally through the firm’s management software
- Coordinating and scheduling meetings, depositions, and court appearances
- E-filing pleadings through applicable databases
- Proofreading legal documents for accuracy and completeness
Skills desired:
- Excellent project management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong comprehension, attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Adobe and Outlook)
- Ability to keep up with a very high volume of email traffic
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with experience and benefits are offered.
- This role offers a competitive $55k-$60k Base Salary (flexible/negotiable DOE)
