We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Assistant to help manage and maintain our inventory operations efficiently.

Job Summary

The Inventory Assistant will be responsible for tracking stock levels, organizing inventory storage, receiving shipments, and assisting with inventory audits. This role ensures that technicians have timely access to the tools, locks, and parts they need for field service.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and label incoming stock and supplies.
• Organize and maintain inventory in an orderly and accessible manner.
• Monitor stock levels and alert management when reordering is needed.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and audits.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using tracking systems.
• Help prepare tools, lock parts, and kits for locksmiths before dispatch.
• Coordinate with suppliers for deliveries or discrepancies.
• Ensure stockroom cleanliness and compliance with safety guidelines.
• Support office and field staff with inventory-related requests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in inventory, stockroom, or warehouse roles preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, inventory management systems).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift and move boxes or equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with locksmith or hardware inventory is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools, locks, and mechanical parts is advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
