Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $24 - $24 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Pipe Fitter:

• Perform pipe welding, installation, and repair based on project requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper layout and fit
• Conduct quality assurance checks to meet specifications and standards
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and tools as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and compliance standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient project completion

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Technical skills: Proficiency in various welding techniques (SMAW, GTAW, MIG, etc.), a strong understanding of welding codes (like API 1104), and the ability to operate welding equipment
• Mechanical and problem-solving: Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to handle challenges on the job
• Attention to detail: A meticulous approach to ensure precision in every weld
• Physical endurance: The physical stamina to work long hours, lift heavy objects, and work in difficult or extreme weather conditions, such as heat or cold
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Education and certifications: A high school diploma or G.E.D. is typically required, along with formal training from a trade school, an apprenticeship, and/or certifications like those from the American Welding Society (AWS)
