The Vines is currently looking for a LPN to support our nursing department. The LPN will have medication/treatment responsibilities to include ensuring all medications are administered safely and as scheduled. Direct patient care, assisting with meals and daily activities. Responsibilities include change of shift reporting, charting and participation in groups. Patient education is also a key duty as well as appropriate documentation, safety and to providing each patient with a therapeutic and rehabilitative environment.

The LPN records medication variances for investigation by the RN. Assists with completion of medication recapitulation. Assists with completion of treatments as needed. Report unusual findings to the charge nurse.

LPNs also assist staff during a crisis situation and intervenes as needed.

Education and Experience: Must possess a valid LPN license or Registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Florida. Minimum one - two years experience as a LPN in a hospital or other healthcare facility.
