Mortgage Servicing Officer

: Overview: The Mortgage Subservicing Led will play a pivotal role in managing the Mortgage Sub-Servicing monitoring program. This position requires in-depth knowledge of the residential mortgage and secondary mortgage servicing requirements including all regulatory aspects as well government investors servicing (FNMA, FHA, Freddie Mac). The Mortgage Sub-Servicing Officer will be responsible for the ongoing oversight of any mortgage sub-servicer process as well as the internal servicing of residential loans. Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee our mortgage sub-servicer relationship and monitor key operational sub-servicer SLAs, KPIs and KRIs.
• Participate in the bi-weekly calls where cases are discussed with Subservicer.
• Conduct test/audit plans of different mortgage servicing process (monthly, quarterly, etc.) and ensure corrective actions are implemented timely (this will include loans serviced by others as well as loans serviced in house)
• Audits include reviewing copies of investor (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, etc.) audits in order to identify any issue.
• Ensures needed regulatory compliance are being adhered.
• Maintain and oversee policies and procedures for all areas of our mortgage servicing.
• Liase with Relationship Managers, clients, internal and external Counsel as needed to resolve any customer's requests or error resolution escalated to Bank in order to respond to inquiries received from clients, front/middle offices, and internal auditors, providing the required information accurately for the timely resolution of such queries.
• Advises management on developments that impact the department.
• Prepares various reports and participates with special projects related to the mortgage servicing processes (outsource and inhouse).
• Leads and acts as a the key liaison in the monitoring of the DMI servicing process for Residential loans

Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of Commercial and Standby Letters of Credit required.
• Advanced knowledge of specific trade finance products, payment services, foreign exchange and general bank operating policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and client servicing skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems with minimal guidance.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
