Merchandiser/Visual Display Associate

What will you be doing:
- Develop and maintain visual feeling of shop
- Create visual floor/window displays
- Ensure on-going marketing initiatives are reflected in displays
- Maximize space and sales while creating visual direction
- Maintain proper quantities of product in displays
- Develop ideas and maintains fresh display appearances
- Inform staff of new product displays
- Relate in a friendly professional manner to shop guests
- Inform manager when product is needed
- Plan and manage displays
- Construct or assemble and move displays
- Bending, Lifting and using a Step Ladder
- Use lift in tree trimming
- Arrange items on displays
- Place pricing and description on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor as directed/needed
- Assist with other duties as directed or needed
- Some travel required
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 1+ years of retail design/display experience
- High school diploma required; merchandising degree a plus
- Demonstrated proficiency with computers and software programs
Pay Rate: $16.10
Job Type
- 20-25 Hours a week.
- Flexible hours and days of the week
- Work rotating schedules including some evenings, weekends and holidays
