Position Overview:

Now Hiring: Senior Business Development Manager


Location: Remote (U.S.-based excluding NY and CA)
Company: Project Expedition

Compensation: $65,000 to $70,000

Benefits:

  • Annual bonus opportunity (up to $3,000 based on company targets)

We’re looking for a Senior Business Development Manager who thrives on building relationships, driving revenue, and executing growth strategies that scale. What You’ll Do

Drive Strategic Growth

  • Lead the full sales lifecycle — from identifying opportunities with travel agencies and advisors to closing deals and nurturing long-term partnerships
  • Develop and execute growth strategies that expand our presence across the travel industry

Build High-Value Partnerships

  • Cultivate relationships with travel advisors, agencies, and key partners .
  • Expand account portfolios while strengthening engagement with existing partners

Support & Enable Success

  • Assist with onboarding and training new travel advisors , helping them maximize Project Expedition’s offerings

Own Key Accounts

  • Act as the primary point of contact for major partners , resolving issues, managing escalations, and ensuring a best-in-class client experience

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Work closely with Product, Support, and internal teams to improve client experiences and advocate for product enhancements based on feedback

Represent the Brand

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings (approximately one week of travel per month, including occasional weekends)

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 2-4 years of business development experience with a track record of driving growth and strategic initiatives
  • Strong sales and partnership-building skills
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to turn opportunities into measurable results
  • Experience collaborating across teams and advocating for client needs
  • Exceptional problem-solving and relationship management skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities

Additional Requirements

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for business
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate travel, events, and partner needs

Important Notes

  • This is a fully remote role within the United States .
  • We are currently unable to hire candidates residing in California or New York .
  • While remote, this role is not designed for digital nomads . Employees must be U.S.-based
