About the Role:

The Temporary WM BSA Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the monitoring of the firms compliance program. This position involves the review of BSA alerts and investigations and requires timely resolution in accordance with deadlines. Position will require analytical skills and the review of BSA Trends which would be used to render opinions and conclusions for each analysis including the closure of alerts or recommendations to file necessary suspicious activity reports. Candidate will also provide ongoing assistance and AML guidance to Account Officers and other bank personnel to help ensure that the proper documentation is obtained to clear the reviews in a timely manner. To identify, evaluate, monitor and make any recommendation deemed necessary to the BSA areas in order to assess, reduce, eliminate or control any current or prospective risks to earnings or capital arising from violations of, or nonconformance with, laws, rules regulations, prescribed practices, internal policies and procedures or ethical standards. Reviews will include assessment of investment accounts and will require understanding of investment products and their corresponding red flags.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in BSA or bank auditing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Excel in regards to using Pivot Tables and manipulating data.
• Analytical skills to identify trends and BSA red flags
• Due Diligence expertise and screening/identifying for negative media as well as PEP identification
• Understanding of broker dealer products/services
• Experience in reviewing corporate documents such as Articles of Incorporation and Financial Statements etc
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Minimum Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, or a related field.
