Junior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities
- Support the design, deployment, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines across development and production environments.
- Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, etc.) to ensure uptime, scalability, and performance.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm.
- Assist in automating build, deployment, and monitoring processes.
- Collaborate with development, InfoSec, and platform teams to improve reliability and deployment efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve environment, build, and deployment issues.
- Support security, compliance, and documentation requirements across environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related fields (internship or project experience acceptable).=
- Basic understanding of:
- CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Linux systems administration and shell scripting
- Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong desire to learn new technologies.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to security and compliance automation (FedRAMP, IL environments).
- Experience working in regulated or government environments.
- Familiarity with GitOps practices or automated testing in CI/CD.
