We’re currently seeking a Maintenance Technician with experience in maintenance of car wash equipment and facilities to join our team.

As a Maintenance Technician at Woodie’s, you will be responsible for ensuring allocated sites are fully operational and delivering clean & dry vehicles for our customers. Maintenance technicians will develop and execute preventative maintenance as scheduled and ensure our facilities are operating seamlessly, contributing to the overall satisfaction and safety of customers and staff.

What You Will Do:

• Responsible for the completion of daily maintenance of our facilities, equipment, and machinery including HVAC, lighting systems, car wash equipment, grounds keeping, security, and facility appearance.
• Perform service work on car wash equipment and accessories including troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems to ascertain the needed corrective action.
• Replace, Repair, or adjust parts and systems as necessary.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance as scheduled while providing training to our site staff and management.
• Collaborate with site-management and HR on building safety, security, and emergency preparedness efforts.
• Maintain all inspection, audit, and maintenance records.
• Document processes and procedures, while maintaining continuous process improvements.

What You Need:

• Minimum 2 years of moderate- to advanced-level experience in industrial or production maintenance (car wash, manufacturing, or mechanical environments preferred).
• Moderate experience in at least four of the following areas:
  • Electrical systems
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Hydraulics
  • Welding
  • Pneumatics
  • Plumbing
• Strong ability to balance multiple projects, work independently, and collaborate with a team.
• Sense of urgency and dedication to minimizing downtime across sites.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and on-call hours as needed.
• Enjoy working outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Physical capability to: lift to 75 lbs., stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, perform repetitive motions, distinguish color variations, and climb/work from ladders.
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Upon offer, candidates must successfully complete a pre-hire background check and driving history review.

While performing the duties of this job, the MT is regularly required to stand and/or walk for long periods of time. A Maintenance Technician is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. They must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception.

Travel Requirements:

This position is based at a Wash Shack location and requires travel to and from work and home. The position requires travel to and from field store locations or other locations as necessary and would normally equate to around 90% of the employees’ time.
