We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Logistics Manager to join our South Florida Ventures team. In this role you will partner closely with the SVP, Operations, Finance, and other Operations leadership, ensuring efficient storage and distribution of goods, while maintaining safety standards and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems
- Oversee storage optimization, and inventory accuracy
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations
- Manage inventory tracking systems and documentation
- Optimize storage space utilization
Operations Management
- Schedule warehouse staff for warehouse operations
- Implement process improvements for increased efficiency
- Oversee equipment maintenance and utilization
Shipping and Receiving
- Oversee all incoming and outgoing shipments at the warehouse
- Coordinate loading and unloading operations at the warehouse
- Ensure proper documentation of all shipments
- Manage relationships with carriers and logistics partners
- Verify accuracy of shipped and received goods
Safety and Compliance
- Develop and enforce warehouse safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Conduct regular safety training and meetings
- Maintain emergency response procedures
- Monitor and maintain proper equipment safety standards
Cost Control Management
- Develop and manage warehouse operating budget
- Monitor and control labor costs
- Optimize resource allocation and utilization
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures
- Track and analyze operational expenses
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Strong analytical and cost management capabilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluently Bilingual (English & Spanish)
Performance Objectives
- Maintain high inventory accuracy rates
- Reduce operational costs while maintaining efficiency
- Improve warehouse productivity metrics
- Ensure zero safety incidents
- Meet or exceed shipping and receiving targets
