Sr. Accountant

What is this role all about?

The Senior Accountant is an expert in financial accounting and creation, maintenance, and quality control for the accounting books. This is an onsite position in Coral Gables (Miami) area.

• Oversee daily accounting operations
• Create new sets of books for new business ventures
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management
• Optimize accounting systems and processes for efficiency
• Prepare documents for annual audits
• Employee Expense Reimbursement
• Manage state and local taxes

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (bonus points for a Master’s degree)
• 5+ years experience in prior bookkeeping/accounting roles
• STRONG knowledge of US GAAP rules
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
