Part Time Warehouse Associate
Position Summary:
The Junior Warehouse Associate for interior design and home staging company plays a critical behind‑the‑scenes role in supporting staging and design operations. This position is responsible for pulling, preparing, and restocking inventory while maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable with physical work and independent tasks.
Pay Range: $15–$19 per hour, based on experience and skill level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull and prepare furniture, art, and accessories for staging installations.
- Ensure all inventory is clean, damage‑free, and loaded efficiently.
- Pack items at the property that will be de‑staged.
- Unload returned items, inspect for damage, and restock in proper locations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse space at all times.
- Assist with routine quality control inspections of inventory.
- Report and document any damaged or missing items immediately.
- Conduct light repairs on damaged inventory when appropriate.
- Use inventory software or tablets to track item movement and availability.
- Coordinate with designers and stylists to ensure accurate item fulfillment for each project.
- Support loading and unloading of trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
Qualifications & Traits:
- Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Enjoys consistent, task‑oriented work in a warehouse setting.
- Physically capable of lifting, moving, and staging furniture safely (safely 75 lbs+).
- Organized and committed to maintaining clean, efficient workspaces.
- Basic experience with warehouse operations or inventory management is a plus.
- Experience working for a moving company is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable using mobile devices or tablets for tracking inventory.
- Valid Driver’s License.
