The Department of Mathematics in University of Tampa's College of Social Sciences, Mathematics, and Education invites applicants for a full-time, non-tenure-track, annually renewable position as Assistant Teaching Professor/Lecturer for the academic year 2026-27. We are searching for teacher-scholars who will serve as mentors for our diverse student body, and who have a demonstrated commitment to the academic success of all students. Qualifications Successful candidates will have at least a master's degree in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, mathematics education, statistics, or other related fields. Candidates with a master's degree will be hired as Lecturer, while those holding the terminal degree will be hired as Assistant Teaching Professor. All candidates are expected to have a commitment to excellence in teaching, engaging students in learning beyond the classroom, and University service. The successful candidates must have demonstrated experience in teaching lower-level courses in Mathematics (Introductory Algebra, College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Finite Mathematics, and Calculus for Business). The teaching load is four, 4-credit courses per semester. Faculty may have the opportunity to teach in the summer for additional compensation. Required Attachments
