Forklift Operator

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $15.50 - $17/hr. DOE
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Experience: 2+ Years

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts for merchandise movement, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting.
• Load and unload trucks and containers.
• Pick and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Conduct inventory counts and reconciliations.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform general warehouse duties as assigned.
• Properly document all warehouse activities and maintain accurate records.
• Identify and report any inventory damages or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members for smooth warehouse operations.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Skills Required:

• Minimum of 8 months of previous warehouse experience.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
• Proficiency in using handheld devices and warehouse management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to proper procedures.
