THIS IS NOT A TELEWORK POSITION. CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK IN THE OFFICE.

This posting will be used to fill an OPS position.
Current employees will be compensated in accordance with the DCF salary policy.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.
Business hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST, Monday - Friday.
Salary: $15.75/HR.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Note: Be prepared to provide a copy of your degree/diploma or request official transcripts from your school. All documents must be in English, clear, and legible, showing all signatures and pertinent details. Foreign degrees must be validated by a third party to meet the US equivalency requirements. All costs are the responsibility of the applicant.
- At least one (1) year of clerical work and/or administrative support in a professional setting or customer service experience.
Preference will be given to candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Excellent writing and verbal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
This position serves as a clerk for the Economic Self Sufficiency Program. Providing clerical and administrative support services to members of the Business Operations team.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Assists with general administrative tasks in the Headquarters Economic Self Sufficiency office.
- Reviews, edits, and prepares reports and documentation for accuracy in formatting, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and data.
- Maintains records and file documents appropriately.
- Assists office staff in the completion of administrative assignments to meet established due dates.
- Organize and maintain filing systems.
- Performs basic calculations.
- Plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, uses active listening.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Demonstrate professionalism, competency, works well with others.
- Assists with special projects and other job-related duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of administrative principles and practices.
- Knowledge of office procedures and practices.
- Knowledge of correct grammar and report style editing.
- Ability to determine work priorities, and ensure proper completion of work assignments.
