PAY RATE: Up to $25/hour

Shift: Monday Thursday, 3:30 PM 2:00 AM EST (OT available on weekends)

Summary:
-
Performs a range of assembly tasks, from repetitive to complex, on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

Follows diagrams, drawings, and written instructions to complete layouts and assembly work using hand and power tools, jigs, and saws.

Performing mechanical assembly, cable harnessing, and soldering work
-
Stripping, crimping, and assembling copper and coaxial wire using hand tools
-
Making continuity checks on in-process and completed work
-
Conducting quality inspections according to defined specifications
-
Disassembling, modifying, reworking, and reassembling assemblies and subassemblies
-
Testing experimental or prototype units under simulated conditions
-
Reading and interpreting wire harness prints and assembly instructions
-
Following detailed processes to ensure accurate assembly
Additional Information:
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
Strong mechanical aptitude is a must
-
Candidates with relevant mechanical hobbies (e.g., model building, soldering) are encouraged to apply

Prior experience with IPC 610/620 and cable assembly is a plus
-
IPC-WHMA-A-620 certification preferred, but not required
-
Ability to read and write in English
-
Comfortable using a computer and inputting data
-
Strong written communication skills
-
Proficient in blueprint reading

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
