JOB TITLE: Cable Assembly - 2nd Shift

LOCATION: Clearwater, FL

PAY RATE: Up to $25/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Shift: Monday Thursday, 3:30 PM 2:00 AM EST (OT available on weekends)

• Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Performs a range of assembly tasks, from repetitive to complex, on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

• Follows diagrams, drawings, and written instructions to complete layouts and assembly work using hand and power tools, jigs, and saws.

• Performing mechanical assembly, cable harnessing, and soldering work

• Stripping, crimping, and assembling copper and coaxial wire using hand tools

• Making continuity checks on in-process and completed work

• Conducting quality inspections according to defined specifications

• Disassembling, modifying, reworking, and reassembling assemblies and subassemblies

• Testing experimental or prototype units under simulated conditions

• Reading and interpreting wire harness prints and assembly instructions

• Following detailed processes to ensure accurate assembly

Additional Information:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Strong mechanical aptitude is a must

• Candidates with relevant mechanical hobbies (e.g., model building, soldering) are encouraged to apply

• Prior experience with IPC 610/620 and cable assembly is a plus

• IPC-WHMA-A-620 certification preferred, but not required

• Ability to read and write in English

• Comfortable using a computer and inputting data

• Strong written communication skills

• Proficient in blueprint reading

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
