Summary: Creates a sanitary, safe environment and assists nurses with patient care for the Operating Room (OR).

Responsibilities: Stocks supplies in surgical suites as necessary or designated. Assist with moving surgical equipment. Cleans OR surgical suites and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing linens and sanitizing all surfaces. Assist nurse with providing basic patient care.

Education and Certification Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required) BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART), BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART), BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE), BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC) - Red Cross (RED CROSS)

Additional Job Information: Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communications skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision with a positive disposition. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: One (1) year of experience required.
