Documentation Manager - Healthcare/Medical

NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Documentation Manager – to join our client’s team in Tampa, Florida . This is a hybrid, direct hire position.

SALARY: $65,000 – $75,000 (depending on experience) plus performance bonuses.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in DME, healthcare documentation, medical records, or related field
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer guidelines
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in documentation management
• Experience with DME workflows and compliance standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and workflow management systems

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the documentation team to ensure high performance
• Review and monitor documentation for accuracy and compliance with payer and regulatory requirements
• Oversee medical record review processes including orders and face-to-face documentation
• Manage department workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize operational efficiency
• Support escalation and resolution of documentation issues with providers and payers
• Track and report departmental KPIs and trends to leadership
