Essential Functions

• Set up tables and chairs to meet the function specifications.

Properly clean meeting space at beginning, during, and end of events, including not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, wiping, scrubbing.

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by The Boca Raton from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

Internal Relationships

Reports to Director of Mizner Center Operations and Event Logistics.

External Relationships

Has regular contact with guests of the resort.

Qualifications

• In depth knowledge of meeting room set up, service standards, guest relations and luxury resort etiquette.

• Ability to read Banquet Event Orders and Organize into Working Papers.

• Knowledge of appropriate linen and table settings.

• Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to perform under pressure effectively for extensive periods of time while maintaining professionalism.

Education/Experience Requirements

Prior Banquet department experience preferred. Prior setup experience preferred.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
