A top-10 AmLaw international law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their dynamic Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group in Miami . This is an exciting opportunity for a driven litigator to work on sophisticated disputes while learning from a nationally recognized team. The position offers hands-on experience across all stages of litigation, as well as meaningful mentorship and professional development.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in Florida , in good standing
• 4+ years of general litigation experience across a broad range of practices
• Prior law firm experience is required
• Highly proficient in managing cases from inception to resolution, including conducting legal research , preparing for trial , drafting legal documents , and appearing in court
• Completion of a federal court clerkship is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a meticulous attention to detail and sound business judgment
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication, writing, legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cases from inception to resolution , including participating in depositions, hearings, and trials
• Support senior attorneys in case development , strategy , and client communications
• Handle trial preparation and discovery , including drafting discovery requests and responses, and reviewing evidence
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other court filings
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders
• Engage in pro bono matters to support underserved communities

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Compensation : Annual base salary is expected to range from $310,000-$390,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors
