Consistently named a Top Workplace in Tampa Bay by the Tampa Bay Times **The role you'll contribute:** The cook, under the supervision of the Food & Nutrition Services (FANS) management team, is responsible for preparing and handling food according to established recipes, sanitation standards, and HACCP guidelines. This role supports patient meal service, retail operations, and catering by ensuring food quality, safety, and presentation. Key duties include cooking to order, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, managing inventory, and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient and compliant food service delivery. **The value you'll bring to the team:** Prepares patient and retail menu items on production sheets, in accordance with forecasted and/or tallied quantities, following established Morrison recipes at all times. Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards.Completes and utilizes daily production worksheets and waste log sheets.Tastes completed meals to ensure quality. Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage and work areas. Assists the Chef in taking inventory as necessary.
