Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

Own the strategic vision for all vendor drop ship categories across Bealls Florida

Directly accountable for developing and achieving financial KPIs such as sales, gross margin, and net profit

Negotiate with vendors on pricing, content of assortment, shipping costs, terms, and reasonable shipping windows

Continually keep assortment fresh and relevant to current trends by understanding guest behavior and reacting accordingly

Manage vendor inventory feeds and ensure shipments are being processed timely and accurately

Travel to market to create and build new vendor relationships

Frequently shop other competitors to ensure strategies are competitive and relevant for current and future plans

Understand guest behavior and demographics to help identify white-space and areas of opportunity within the assortment

Propose additional reporting needed to enhance drop ship sales performance and increase efficiency

Coach and develop a team

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required

Minimum of 3 years buying experience

Analytical with excellent attention to detail

Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills

Able to communicate effectively with various audiences

Excellent merchandising skills and remain informed about the market

Natural leadership abilities and team-building skills

Experience with drop ship is preferred
