Seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic who can work on heavy construction (foundation) equipment and assist with preventative maintenance and repairs.
Excellent medical benefits & paid vacation (after 1 year) with a family run company founded in Sarasota in 1956.
Qualifications:
- Self-starter
- Able to work alone or with others
- Fix, repair, and maintain existing pile hammer equipment
- Must be willing to travel occasionally to job sites to handle on-site equipment repairs
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must have at least a minimum of 2 years of experience working on heavy equipment
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Must be willing to be taught how to operate a crane
