PAY RATE: $12.50 While Training, $13.00 After Training SCHEDULE: This position operates within a 24/7 environment that may require applicants to workday, evening, and/or night shifts as well as holidays and weekends.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under general supervision of the Manager on Duty, Dispatcher or Driver Manager, performs various tasks related to checking drivers on and off, assigning drivers to vehicles, and controlling flow of cash and vouchers turned in by drivers.
TYPICAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Checks drivers on at the beginning of their shift by entering information such as driver number into the computer system and provides driver with available vehicle. Logs vehicle number into computer system. Issues trip ticket to appropriate driver. Checks drivers off at the end of their shift by entering trip ticket number, number of passengers, amount of cash collected and/or other information. Counts all incoming cash and vouchers and compares to drivers' trip ticket for accuracy. Deposits cash and vouchers in safe. Distributes literature and other materials to drivers as required. Keeps management informed of driver activity requiring attention such as driver being late, not showing up for work or improper uniform. Cashier may be required to perform other duties not listed if requested.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum six months experience in either cashiering or accounting in a related field preferred, will train. Minimum three months experience with computer keyboard required. Experience with 10-key adding machine also preferred.
Skill at: Must have good oral and written communication skills.
Special Requirements: Must be able to remain calm, pleasant, and poised in high-pressure situations.
MUST BE NON-TOBACCO USER.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Must be able to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately.
- Must be able to communicate by telephone or in person in clear fluent English in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner with drivers, customers, guests, co-workers, and other persons.
- Must be able to access, input and retrieve information from a computer system and 10-key calculator.
- Must be able to read and understand trip tickets and other communications.
