Qualifications: Basic knowledge of computer functions on a keyboard Proven experience as forklift operator Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment Excellent physical condition and coordination Valid certification to operate forklifts High school diploma Not mentally or physically impaired from any cause that can adversely affect ability to safely and competently perform required functions Ability to accurately gauge lengths of time and distance Ability to take prompt and appropriate response to operating conditions Working Conditions: Manufacturing and warehouse environment. Freezer, Refrigerated, and Ambient temperatures. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift and stack product up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work in various temperatures of extreme ranges. Duties Responsibilities: Supplies seven production lines with all needed materials to keep lines running smoothly. Unload all packaging supply trucks, (plastic bottles, cardboard boxes and empty cans), as needed. Cooperates with team members to keep the packaging line flowing in a smooth and safe manner while ensuring the integrity of the product is maintained. Will remove any unneeded empty pallets and packaging. Provide packaging maintenance department support as requested. Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places. Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies. Transport packaging materials to production work stations. Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance. Must be able to drive a forklift safely. Meets all Good Manufacturing Practices. Practices safety requirements established by OSHA and Peace River Citrus Products. Conforms to requirements of PRCP food safety programs. Be available to work extended shifts and days. Any additional duties assigned by supervisor.
