Head of Turbine Operations US
A Snapshot of your Day:
As the Head of Turbine Operations (US) West team, you will lead and inspire a dedicated group of more than 15 engineers (Technical Project Managers for Blades and Vanes) based in the US. This leadership role focuses on driving team performance, ensuring quality, on-time delivery, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including manufacturing, service, procurement, and program management on engine level to deliver high-impact turbine solutions.
You will be pivotal in developing your team’s capabilities, promoting continuous improvement, and globally aligning operational goals with Siemens Energy’s commitment to sustainable and reliable energy solutions.

What You Bring
- Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or similar technical degree. Master’s degree preferred.
- 10 years R&D project management or line management. Preferred experience in gas turbine design.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Design activities for gas turbine / turbine project like aerodynamics, heat transfer, mechanical integrity, mechanical design, manufacturing and service.
- Strategic thinking focused on execution, excellence and team performance.
- Strong communication, inter-cultural awareness, and presentation skills
- A proactive mindset with analytical and organizational skills and the ability to communicate expertise for networking and change management.
- Available for domestic travel
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
