We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join a dynamic team in Orlando, FL. This mid-senior level role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in electrical and controls engineering, ready to contribute to large-scale projects and drive innovative solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience level: Mid-senior
Experience required: 5 Years
Education level: Bachelor’s degree
Strong background in engineering principles and their practical applications
Proficiency in 3D modeling software, preferably SolidWorks
Expertise in AutoCAD
Experience in performing complex engineering calculations and analysis
Ability to design systems from a blank sheet, demonstrating creativity and innovation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills to explain engineering decisions and rationales
Desired Qualities
Attention to detail and commitment to optimizing designs for efficiency and longevity
Ability to consider long-term factors such as stress, fatigue, and life expectancy in designs
Proactive approach to engineering challenges, going beyond surface-level solutions
Willingness to question and improve upon existing designs and methodologies
