This role will be responsible for:

• Overseeing all functions of project estimating for multiple ongoing bids
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and architects to establish a level of understanding of the project scope, specification, and contract
• Solicit and track Subcontractor/Supplier proposals
• Manages the development of bid proposals, plans, specifications, & addenda
• Evaluate bid documents for completeness, obtain additional information from the client as required, and observe all stated guidelines and deadlines
• Attends site visits and pre-bid meetings as required to assess customer needs
• Responsible for ensuring maximum subcontractor & vendor coverage
• Develops detailed scopes of work for each trade package based on bid documents
• Perform complex analysis of subcontractor estimates
• Negotiating with Suppliers & Subcontractors for the best pricing
• Meeting with upper management for bid review and submission

Qualifications include:

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in construction management or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Commercial Construction
• Strong organization, presentation, written, and communication skills
• Understanding of contract documents, drawings, specifications, product data, and contracts
• Experience with project management is a plus
• Software experience, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Construction Management & Estimating Software
