General Manager (Gulf Breeze)

Ron Jon Surf Shop is hiring an experienced Retail General Manager to lead our two adjacent stores on the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk. This year-round role is responsible for driving store performance, leading a strong team, and maintaining high standards across operations, merchandising, and guest experience in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years General Manager level experience or Operations Manager experience with a Big Box retailer.
• Strong recruitment background.
• Must live within commuting distance to Pensacola Beach (no relocation assistance provided).
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends, evenings and limited holidays.
• Ability to stand, move, bend, reach, carry, and occasionally climb ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities:

• Provide enjoyable, knowledgeable and friendly service to our customers through strong training and management of store associates.
• Understand, communicate and execute company policies and standards.
• Train and manage all store associates including sales, receiving, back of house employees.
• Full mastery of register procedures and computer programs exclusive to our company.
• Full responsibility for P&L, inventory, and overall facility management.
• Performs additional duties as assigned to support store operations and overall business needs.
