THIS IS A PRODUCTION BASED POSITION.

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Loader / Unloader to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of goods, maintaining safety standards, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and heavy equipment operation, with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.

Duties

• Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes
• Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and process orders
• Perform order picking tasks with precision, ensuring correct items are selected for shipment or storage
• Assist in shipping and receiving activities, verifying quantities and inspecting goods for damage
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards
• Handle materials safely during movement throughout the warehouse, including heavy lifting and mechanical tasks
• Support warehouse supervision in managing stock levels and inventory accuracy
• Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance

Experience

• Previous experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling preferred
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, crane, clamp truck, or pallet jack is highly desirable
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and RF scanners is a plus
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse operations
• Background in construction or related fields involving heavy lifting and equipment operation is advantageous
• Prior supervisory experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial but not required
• Demonstrated ability to perform order picking efficiently with precision and attention to detail
